Poverty Profile of Maluku Utara Province 2021

The problem of poverty is one of the basic problems that is the center of government attention. One important aspect to support the Poverty Reduction Strategy is the availability of accurate and reliable poverty data.The publication “Poverty Profile of Maluku Utara Province 2021” presents poverty data and information that includes the poverty rate calculation methodology used by BPS-Statistics. In addition, this publication also presents an analysis of the development of poverty levels, poverty depth and severity indexes, distribution and inequality of expenditures as well as profiles of poor households in Maluku Utara. The poverty data presented in this publication is the result of processing data from the March 2021 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas).
