Abstract

Indonesian Democracy Index or IDI is an empirical and objective measurement tool on the condition of the provincial political democracy in the country. IDI is a measurement built against a backdrop of socio-political development of Indonesia. IDI Index drafting implemented since 2009, dinahkodai by Bappenas, supported by the Ministry of Interior, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), as well as provincial governments and in the process involving civil society organizations and academia from all over Indonesia.
