Abstract

In May 2018, the North Maluku Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) was 98.38 or decreased by 1.34 percent compared to the previous month (April 2018) which was 99.72.
From 10 (ten) Provinces in eastern Indonesia, NTP May 2018 to April 2018 there was an increase of NTP in 8 (eight) provinces, where the biggest increase of NTP occurred in West Sulawesi was 2.23 percent. While 2 (two) other provinces namely North Maluku and Papua Province decreased NTP respectively - each 1.34 percent and 0.05 percent.
NTP nationally increased from April 2018 to May 2018 from 101.61 to 101.99 or up by 0.37 percent.
In May 2018, North Maluku Province experienced rural inflation of 1.64 percent due to the rise in household consumption index in 7 (seven) spending groups.
National Rural Inflation in May 2018 was 0.19 percent due to an increase in the price index in 7 (seven) spending groups.
Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of North Maluku Province in May 2018 was 111.43 or decreased 0.11 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (April 2018) which was 111.55.
