Abstract

In July 2017, Ternate City experienced inflation of 0.80 percent with the consumer price index (CPI) of 134.56. While the National inflation rate is 0.22 percent with the consumer price index of 130.00.
The Ternate city calendar year inflation was 3.29 percent and Kota Ternate's year-on-year inflation was 3.68 percent. While year-on-year inflation and national year-on-year inflation are 2.60 percent and 3.88 percent respectively.
In July 2017, Ternate City experienced inflation in three expenditure groups, deflation in two expenditure groups and stagnant in two other groups. Inflation in the three expenditure groups, namely food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group was 2.98 percent; Grocery group of 1.86 percent; As well as education, recreation and sports groups of 0.10 percent. While the deflation in the two expenditure groups was transport groups, communications and financial services by 0.21 percent; As well as clothing groups of 0.02 percent. The two stagnant expenditure groups are housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel groups; As well as the health group.
