Abstract

In January 2016, the city of Ternate experienced inflation of 0.52 percent in the consumer price index (CPI) amounted to 128.50. While National experiencing inflation of 0.51 percent in the consumer price index amounted to 123.62. CPI of 82 cities, 75 cities experienced inflation and 7 experienced deflation, where the highest inflation occurred in Kota Sibolga 1.82 percent, 1.49 percent of Kendari and Makassar City 1.36 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in 0.58 percent of Gorontalo, Palu 0.41 percent and 0.21 percent of Balikpapan.
