Wednesday, June 1, 2016, BPS North Maluku province re-implement a press conference. This
time talking about the development of the Consumer Price Index and
Inflation Ternate City in May, Farmers Exchange Rate Developments In
May, developments Travelers and The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in April
2016, and the Export-Import Development of North Maluku in April 2016.
The event was chaired by Head of BPS North Maluku Province, Mr. Misfaruddin, BPS Chief of Ternate and Tidore Islands, Head of Stat. Distribution and staffs Kasi, Head of IPDS, Head Nerwilis, and
representatives of government agencies and print media journalists and
electronic media in North Maluku.
In May 2016, the city of Ternate experienced inflation of 0.29 percent in the consumer price index (CPI) 128.08. while National experienced inflation of 0.24 percent in the consumer price index 123.48. Of

tomatoes, several types of fish such as tuna, skipjack smoke, pomfret,
jackfruit seeds, squid, anchovies, lolosi, chicken eggs, sugar,
cigarettes , filter cigarettes, cigarettes, gold jewelry, and air freight rates. Meanwhile commodity prices decline include: spinach, carrots, red
pepper, cayenne pepper, onion, eggplant long, red snapper, yellow tail,
tuna, malalugis, bloating, bubara, gasoline, and electricity rates.
Based
on the results of monitoring prices in rural districts throughout North
Maluku province, NTP May 2016 amounted to 104.64 percent decreased by
0.67 percent compared to the previous month (April 2016), which amounted
to 105.34. According subsektornya, Farmer Food (NTPP) stood at 108.18; The exchange rate horticultural farmers (NTPH) 107.94; exchange rate farmers smallholder tree crops (NTPR) 100.15; The exchange value of livestock farmers (NTPT) 109.10; and the exchange rate for Fisheries (Fishermen and Fish Farmers / NTNP) amounted to 100.79. Inflation rural North Maluku at 0.16 percent in May 2016 caused by the

In
terms of Tourism, Foreign Tourists (Wisman) which came in North Maluku
